Exhausting The Adamic Curse.

We have already seen that disease is part of the curse of Adam. Logically, therefore, since Jesus became curse for us, indeed exhausted the Adamic curse on the Cross, disease no longer has any right to afflict the believer. God laid our diseases on Jesus. Just as He did with our sins and condemnation. He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and “with His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
God made Jesus sin with our sins, sick with our sicknesses. He took our diseases and made us well. Jesus knew no sin nor sickness until He was made sick with our diseases. Disease and sickness are never the will of the Father. Healing is part of the plan of redemption.
Convincing evidence of this truth is this fact that Jesus during His earthly ministry healed the sick who came to Him for healing. He turned no one a way supposedly because his sickness was good for him spiritually and would bring him closer to God. We read in Matthew 8:16 that Jesus ” healed all that were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses.”
Remember, also, that Jesus commissioned His disciples to heal the sick and cast out demons. The apostles in turn continued where their divine Master left off and together with proclaiming the Gospel, they ministered healing and deliverance. It became a normal part of the Church’s ministry and established until the return of Jesus in glory!
By virtue of the indweling of the Holy Spirit, God’s life reigns in our body. ‘ That the life of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh”(2 Cor. 4:11). Our objective is not to get healed, but primarily to stay healthy. That Jesus’ life is imparted to our physical bodies means preservation from diseases. The purpose of His being made sick with our diseases was that we might be perfectly healed with His life.
The three main weapons you must use against Satan are the:
1) Blood of Jesus
2) The Word of God
3) Name of Jesus.
