Missions

Logos Celebration International Ministries is involved in a number of missions under the able stewardship of Apostle Charles Omuroka. Below are some of the missions the ministry is involving itself in ever since its inception.

Church Planting

Church Planting in Maasai land

At Logos Celebration International Ministries, we believe that church planting is the primary task of missions . It is conviction that the greatest need of any nation is the establishment and preservation of biblical local churches that shine as beacons of the Gospel through word and deed.In Matthew 16:18, the Lord Jesus declared, “I will build My church; and the gates of hell will not prevail.” This text assures us that Christ is still at work in the world today, calling out a people for Himself – a people who have been redeemed by His blood and set apart for His glory and good pleasure. This redeemed body is most completely manifested to the world through local fellowships or churches that function according to the clear dictates of Scripture.

Gospel Crusades

“Take the teachings that you heard me proclaim in the presence of many witnesses, and entrust them to reliable people, who will be able to teach others also.”~ Apostle Paul

With those humble words from Paul, the Apostle of Jesus Chist, we at Logos Celebration International Ministries do put it into practice. We’ve organized Gospel Crusades and open air meetings in  many parts of Kenya and the neighbouring countries of Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi to mention but a few. Click on the link below to see some of our crusades and the impact thereof. See the salvation, deliverance from demonic oppression, healing and testimonies from the redeemed of the Lord.

Anti-Jigger Campaign

What causes jiggers? This is a question that many individuals ask especially those who live in cities or have never encountered them in thier lives but only hear about them in the media. Jiggers also known as “Tunga penetrans” or sand fleas are normally found in sandy areas with warm, dry climates where they prefer soil and dust close to farms. It is the pregnant female flea that burrows into the skin, feeding and growing a huge rounded belly because of being laden with eggs, which it lays outwards out of the skin. The eggs then hatch into sand fleas that can jump a distance which is 200 times its own body length. The fleas usually prefer the skin under the toenails, although they can also invade the fingernails, soles ankles and knees. We at Logos Celebration International Ministries have taken it upon ourselves to help eradicate this menace just as demonstrated by the pictures in the gallery.

Reaching the Unreached

Reaching the Unreached

Christ calls us as Christians to be a voice to the voiceless. James 1:27 says, “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.”We at Logos Celebration International Ministry have entrenched this value in our system. That’s why apart from the many orphans we are taking care of here in Kakamega County, we reach the unreached with special emphasis to the people of Turkana County. A majority of the people here are hunger and thirst-striken, ravaged by the perennial drought in this arid area found in Chalbi Desert, Northern Kenya. We preach the Gospel, plant churches, set up schools, organize feeding programs and drill water for the residents here who have been left on their own due to the hostile climate.
